I AM in the land of the living...well sort of

Okay, so it's been a while. So, anyone out there who thought I might be dead (aka Courtney), "I'm not dead yet" (said in true Monty Python style). I have a decently big update in my life...no marriage or baby or anything, or even a date, but it's a big deal for me!
I have a job. I today marked the end of my second full week. Even better, my job actually has something to do with music. I am a part time staff accompanist at none other than Carson-Newman. Exciting times for me...it's where I wanted to be accompanying when I graduated but I didn't think it would happen. Mrs. Jones wrote me and asked me to meet with her and now I have a job. I'm playing for 7 people there (5 singers and two flute players). I really am enjoying it so far although driving back and forth from Knoxville along with balancing my school priorities. It's a little tiring but definitely worth it. So that's where I am...I've been crazy busy so I've gotten behind. I'll try to do better!
On a completely different note, I am watching The Apprentice: Martha Stewart and I'm so excited about it!!!! I may get trashed for that comment because some people hate her and think she's evil, but I LOVE her! Really, I can hardly stand how excited I am right now. So I'll be cutting this a bit short so I can get back to the show. I hope others are out there enjoying it too.

P.S. It really annoys me that my picture, profile, etc. have somehow shifted to the bottom. If anyone knows how to fix that, please let me know!
